Each KM-174, in addition to the oval sound hole,
has a bound rosewood fingerboard on a maple neck
that joins the body at the 10th fret.
All topped off with the unmistakable and traditional
"snake-head" peghead design with rosewood overlay and pearl Kentucky script logo.

Solid, hand-carved and graduated spruce top in a gloss Black finish
